Rotary Die Maker



Hours of Working: Double Days - 5.45am - 1.30pm and 1.30pm - 9.30pm late with an earlier finish on a Friday at 8.20) - 37.5 hour week

£27,294.23 - this may increase in the future due to a current pay restructure + Pension + 26 Days Holiday + Profit Share + Flexible Working + Overtime

The main function of this role is to produce all rotary products to the highest quality, inspect them and to deliver them to the next part of the process facilitating workflow needs.

Experience in Flatbed ruling would be an advantage but not essential.


  • To follow the production plan as prioritised by the Production Manager
  • To ensure all shells are pre-prepared before ruling commences
  • To be able to read and understand the works order and customer specifications
  • To carry out all pre and post checks as stated in the Rotary Ruling Procedures or to follow the company standard ruling specification
  • To be able to use all departmental measuring equipment
  • To operate and understand all ruling machinery, ensuring that all risk assessments are adhered too
  • To understand why good housekeeping is important and be able to follow a cleaning schedule and clean the machines to ensure the highest accuracy in machining
  • To carry out weekly maintenance checks on the rotary equipment
  • To report any tooling/machine that requires the attention of the maintenance department
  • To keep your working area clean and respect your fellow employees
  • To check and replenish stock when required in your area
  • To report to your Team Leader when stock levels are running low
  • To ensure all stock is put away in the correct area
