Sales Administrator



Circa £22K (Can be more depending on level of experience) + Christmas Bonus + Pension + Death in Service Benefit + 20 Days Holidays (increased to 22 with 2 years' service then accruing 1 day per year to 25 days)
Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch

Our Client is a privately owned International equipment and consumables company. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their UK based team, they have a requirement for a Sales Administrator who will be responsible for the day to day operation of the sales department, offering the highest levels of customer service and liaising with internal and external departments.

Day to Day Duties:

  • Respond to all telephone/email enquiries; give advice on the best equipment/solutions for the client's needs.
  • Taking orders and placed them with suppliers
  • Arranging stock holding where necessary
  • Inputting all orders onto system and processing all orders through to invoice
  • Ensure all orders are processed, using the appropriate forms, including delivery, collection etc. with appropriate transport companies.

Experience & skills required:

  • SAGE experience is useful
  • Self-motivated, well organised
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills (The ability to interpret and complete paperwork)
  • Well organised with strong administration skills.
  • Ability to work within a small office environment

This role is an important role, candidates must be used to dealing with customers and colleagues at all levels of the business in a professional manner.
