Reports To: General Manager / Sales Director

Location: Home-based in France, with frequent national travel.

Listgrove is retained by an international manufacturer of flexible packaging films. With over 50 years of experience, sites across Europe and global supply links, the company serves a wide range of markets.
To support continued growth, the company is hiring a Sales Manager based in France. This autonomous role offers the opportunity to shape and expand the French market.

Role Summary:

The Sales Manager will drive sales of POF shrink film in France, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and customer relationship management. This field-based role requires strong industry knowledge and a proven sales track record.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets across France.
·    Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships primarily with end-users, while also managing connections with converters and distributors.
·    Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
·    Conduct market research and track competitor activity.
·    Liaise with technical and production teams to align customer needs.
·    Deliver accurate sales forecasts and regular reports.
·    Lead negotiations and manage contracts in line with company policy.
·    Resolve customer issues promptly.

The Person:

·    Self-motivated and results-driven with strong commercial awareness.
·    Organised and analytical in planning and execution.
·    Excellent communicator and negotiator with strong relationship skills.
·    Target-focused and comfortable working independently.
·    Willing to travel regularly across France.
·    Daily reporting.
·    Fluent in French (English and/or Italian are a plus)

Qualifications:

·    Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in shrink film or flexible packaging.
·    Deep understanding of POF shrink film applications and production processes.
·    Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
·    Daily reporting will form an essential part of the role to support tracking, coordination and performance management.
